St. Paul Lutheran Church is offering a Cross Cultural Ministry with the Deaf Community. This ministry includes providing a sign language interpreter for the 9 A.M. worship service each Sunday morning. This year the 5th/6th grade & Adult Sunday School classes will also be interpreted. Each Sunday the church bulletin includes a few signs, as an ongoing educational effort to provide children and adults information on signs and deaf culture. The monthly newsletter has a column "Ask the Interpreter" in which the interpreter will respond to questions about sign language and deaf culture. A Deaf Ministry committee has formed and seeks input so that this ministry can provide the appropriate supports needed so that all my worship. Our interpreter is Linda Greco. She is a graduate of National Technical Institute for the Deaf at RIT.
